This is Domino modelling on the deck bench in July of 2015.  The dress is real, but I added the necklace digitally.

Domino was the consummate model relaxed in her pose and in herself.

She was never happier than when she was wearing a pretty dress.  Just look at that smile!

Domino could also be very alluring, and gives this steamy look to prove the point.
What a puss!

There will never be another like her.

Here's a rather wistful photo of Dylan from July 2015.

He's actually beehaving rather well considering the proximity of the little creatures.  Dylan has a rather stinging indictment of them, though.

"Bees kin be bothersome, but if yoo don't bothers wif dem, dey won't bothers wif yoo!"

"As John Lennon wood say jus' let it BEE!"

This picture is an oldie but a goldie, and one of my all-time faves.

Taken in 2009, it shows what a big 'fan' Dylan was of Dante.  That is Dante's tail splayed in front of him indeed like an ersatz fan.

"All fandemonium haz brokin loose!" Dylan shouted in alarm.

And we all know how Dylan reacts to anything alarming even, it seems,
his brother's tail.

Here's Domino in the rose garden in July 2015.

A rose is a rose is Domino in this hot pink fascinator with pearls, jewelled leaves, and, of course, roses.  She is wearing a sterling heart necklace in deep pink and a silver bracelet with pastel pink gems. She has also chosen a most fashionable pink leather bag with brass accents to go along with the entire ensemble.

Domino ultimately rose above efurrything to become a fashion icon for infinity.

She is a rose for everafter.

This is a picture from 2011, which we are recycling in honour of American Independence Day and, of course, Domino.

She's wearing a red, white and blue dress with starry ruffled skirt, a blue fascinator with white pearls and red pom-pom, and a silver necklace with sapphire, white diamonds and a ruby.  Her PURRse is a Dolce and Gabbana red padded number adorned with three blue metallic stars.

So to all of our American friends, we wish you a:

Domino was always very independent-minded, so she's at one with you, today.
Right on!

Here's Dylan hatted in navy blue in June of 2014.

Dylan just 'blue' me away in his navy fedora with blue-toned checked bowtie and gold and dark blue Ulysse Nardin watch.

He's got that wide-eyed look of surprise that was his signature, but still looks quite dappurr in his classic mode.

Mr. Blue Jay has checked Dylan out and is satisfied that he has served as inspiration for Dylan's choices.
"As another 'Wilde' creature once said:  Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery."
says he making reference to Oscar Wilde (a writer who was known
for his appreciation of beauty)

It's a wild world, after all.

Here's a hatted picture of Domino from the summer of 2015.

She always looked fabulous in PURRple, but then she looked fabulous in just about any colour.  Her wide-brimmed woven deep PURRple hat with ivory floral embellishment sets off her natural complexion (i.e., her fur coat).  And what a beautiful silver necklace with PURRple flower pendant she is wearing!

Finally, she chose a PURRple bag made of alligator leather with gold latch and strap fasteners.  It all gives me butterflies!

What about you?

Here is a final post recalling the love story of Dylan and his fiance Halle.  They had such good times together.  These are just a few.

In 2011, Dylan and Halle had a beach vacation to celebrate Dylan's 8th birthday.

Afterwards they went out to a very posh SEEfood restaurant because as Dylan said:
"Wen I see food I wonts ta eat it!"

For Hallowe'en in 2013, Dylan and Halle dressed up as a satyr and a wood nymph (respectively).  They both dared to "go into the woods at night" that night!

This is the Christmas card they sent out that same year.

Dylan gave this Valentines Day card to Halle in 2014.  She was surprised that he could speak French.  Being a Canadian cat it came naturally to him.

Being French-speaking also came in very handy on their trip to Paris later that same year.
"C'est fantastique!" exclaimed Dylan.

The loving couple also spent Easter together in 2014 purrchasing new hats just for the occasion.

They both dressed up as pirates for "Meow Like a Pirate Day" in 2015.

And they "Santified" themselves for their Christmas card that year, too.

New Year's 2016 saw Dylan and Halle celebrate the anniversary of their engagement, as well as ringing in this new year.

And Dylan wrote this moving message to Halle on their final Valentine's Day together this year.
It let her know that their love was furefur.

In this picture Halle is wearing the engagement collar that Dylan gave her when she became his fiance. She never wants to take it off.   Today Halle still struggles with her loss, but Dylan has left ...

... his purrmanent pawprints on her heart!

Green-eyed Domino chose this same colour for all of her accessories in this picture from June 2016.

Her wide-brimmed green straw hat frames those eyes to great effect.  And her purse in green leather is just about a purrfect match.  She chose a silver necklace with green palm tree pendant as a fresh touch to the outfit.  Fresh as a daisy, too, I might add!

Her froggy friend is a keen admirer of all things green.  As soon as he saw Domino he hopped right to it.

"Wanna play a game 'o Frogger?" asked the frog.

"Not on YOUR life!" answered Domino.

Dylan had a wonderful fiance named Halle of Jacqueline's Cat House.  Halle has been quietly grieving, but now it's time to share her memories of Dylan and the good times they had.

They fell in love soon after meeting, and it was all uphill from there!

Even though Halle and her family live in the deep south in the U.S., and Dylan lived in Ottawa, Ontario Canada north of the border, they always made sure they got together as often as possible, and always on special occasions.

Here are just a few of a weekend getaway in New Orleans:

These photos were provided by Halle's Mum Jacqueline and were produced by Ann Adamus of Zoolatry.

As a continuing tribute to Dylan and their love, I will be posting more pictures of Dylan and Halle together in the near future.
